Fig Tree vs Mountain
Fig Tree vs Mountain Faith Explained
From Matthew 21 :21, Jesus tells the disciples “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.” (NKJV)

The disciples were amazed at what happened to the fig tree, yet Jesus wanted them to know that they should be “marveled” at bigger things than that. Do not be distracted with the “fig tree” events in other people’s lives. Look for the Mountain sized faith events in your life.

You might be looking for a physical thing to change or maybe you are looking for a situation you are in to go away or get better. However, you could miss the “Mountain” from God because you are looking for the “Fig Tree” to change or go away.

The Journaler
Typically, I do not write in a journal. However, God had me start to read the Word with a different mindset than I had previously. He had me start to look at every passage I was reading with a faith filter on, or a type of Faith Goggles. Instead of writing about the application of scripture, I was to write about the application of faith only.
